Our laboratory is working at the crossroads of clinical research and basic tumor immunology. This is reflected by an excellent blend of medical doctors, biologists, biochemists, and bioinformaticians in our team, resulting in optimal cross-fertilization. The clinical teams at the departments of dermatology at the University of Tübingen and the Kantonsspital St. Gallen provide us with samples from unique patient cohorts. The University Hospital in Tübingen is the leading academic hospital in Baden-Württemberg whereas the Kantonsspital St. Gallen is the biggest hospital in Eastern Switzerland.

Our PhDs, MDs, and MD-PhDs are academically affiliated either with the University of Tübingen or the University of Zürich so that our students obtain their degrees at a world class university in Switzerland or Germany.
